I cannot believe that we are here again. This session was so monumental because I first met Joe and Mandy at their first maternity session. He was the new preacher in town which meant we are all complete strangers to each other. I photographed their little girl, Lainey Kate since birth. This meant that I would see Joe and Mandy quite a bit throughout the first year of her life. We became great friends and now, I stop by for visits when I’m in town to catch up. I often joked with Mandy about having another one for me to photograph. A week or two went by and I stopped by for a visit and she nonchalantly gave me the exciting news. I think I spent the next 30 minutes squealing like a little girl. Fast forward 7 or so months and here we are at her maternity session. I cannot wait to meet this little boy and photograph him every couple of months!

I pray that I look half as good as Mandy does at 8.5 months prego if I ever have a baby!

Harper is a year old. I had the pleasure of watching her grow over Facebook. Her daddy is in the Army which meant they were stationed up north for a period of time. I’ve known her parents since the high school days. Harper might possibly be the happiest 1 year old I’ve ever come into contact with. She seriously smiled the entire session. She started walking at 9 months so I knew it would be a mobile session. She didn’t make us run too much. I love the props that her mommy and BFF brought. The little tractor is the same one that her daddy has his pictures taken with at her age. I am pretty pumped to share these with all of you! Harper is such a sweet girl! Happy Birthday!!

She was so confident on her feet. She can get up from a sitting position without using her hands or anything to hold. Crazy!
