Everly | Newborn

Oh how I adore newborn sessions. Theres nothing like seeing a week old baby all snuggled and curled up into the cutest little poses.Getting to play dress up without the dresses and using blankets and headbands instead. For some reason I have done a lot more girls than boys in the past year or so. It’s so easy to get carried away with props galore! Everly’s mommy is a past client/bride’s sister. They also lived one street over from us when we lived in the neighborhood. I love her name. I’ve never heard anything like and Lord knows I love unique names! She did great. She slept, ate, showed us her pretty eyes and slept some more. I got to try out tons of new props for her session! (She even left me a present on one of them haha) Love the way they all turned out. Here’s a sneak peek for her loved ones. 🙂

Taylor Wedding

I’ve been looking forward to blogging this gorgeous/fun wedding since I left the venue. Brittny and Hunter have been my clients for a long time, so finding out they were engaged was super exciting. They’re truly happy and I knew from the first session that they were going to be married someday. I had no idea I would be there to capture their day but I knew it would be fun. They are super laid back and look great in front of the camera! It didn’t hurt that half of the wedding party are past clients of mine also. It was almost like a mini client reunion! They said I Do at the North River Yacht Club on a hot summer day. I love how the photos turned out. I had several laughs while culling and editing. I apologize for the photo overload. There were too many great ones to narrow them down!! Congrats Taylor Fam!

Do you ever wonder why some people choose to do a “first look” instead of waiting to see each other at the ceremony? This is why. You get a chance to have a special moment with your love without all the eyes on you and it allows a much more flexible wedding day schedule. I am Team “First Look”!!

For the record: She had never seen Hunter cry before that moment. Which of course made me tear up!

I love that they took time to get away and read each other’s cards together. An emotional but sweet time together!

These girls were the life of the party. Can’t you tell?

Loved her country details paired with a classy setting!

LOVE these

Get it girl!

Cathryn showed everyone up on the dance floor! She broke out all the moves and everyone gathered around to watch her go!

The sweetest part of the night was when Brantleigh realized her daddy and Brittny weren’t coming home with her. She was so sad. Such a bittersweet moment. I could hear everyone else sniffling right along with her!
